They dried my mouth out and made my gums sensitive, so stopped using them.
Did what that said they'd do.
On discovering we need probiotics in the mouth I tried these happy with the outcome
This certainly did me no harm but I find i have more all over benefit from probiotics and prebiotics that I supplement orally.
tastes ok and my mouth dosnt feel dry in the morning and my breath feels nicer expensive for what they are but do seem to work
These taste fine. I bought this brand because price was good value compared to other ones and because they've got the two "special" probiotic strains Blis K12 & Blis M16 which apparently have the most evidence to back up their effectiveness for dental health. From what I can gather though, most other probiotic strains are also pretty helpful too so I will take these lozenges for just a couple of months (hopefully enough time for these super strains of friendly bacteria to colonise the mouth micr…obiome permanently). After that I will take more affordable long term option of drinking homemade kefir and holding some in my mouth for a few minutes. With any luck taking oral probiotics will help prevent painful teeth problems and costly dental treatment in future. Fingers crossed.
I have tried this brand before and always been pleased. This is the first specific dental pre/probiotic I have ever tried. I actually developed a flareup of gingivitis during the period I was using these tablets so I'm not convinced they help. The texture is much as a Rennie type stomach settler with a chewy, chalky feel but it's not as thick or clingy, probably due to its smaller size. Because I didn't see results, I won't order them again but they may work for other people.
I'll eat most things but I really didn't like the flavour of these dental probiotics. I expected them to have a pleasant minty flavour but that wasn't the case, although oddly our 10 year old doesn't seem to mind them. They need to be dissolved in a clean mouth so are best used last thing at night after brushing and flossing. I'd recommend keeping them in the bathroom cabinet with your toothbrush to remember to use them. I have no idea how effective they really are without the benefit of a scie…ntific analysis of the before and after of my child's oral microbiome, although I wil say that they don't tend to suffer from bad breath.
I like the concept of these - probiotics have been researched scientifically and there is some evidence to support the claim that intestinal probiotics improve gut health, so it would follow that oral probiotics would do the same in the mouth. These are quite small and are designed to be sucked like mints. The flavour is minty but just not very strong or lingering. I don't mind the taste of these, but they are not strong enough to freshen your breath for very long.I haven't been using these for …long enough to know if they really make a difference to my oral health. I tried them on a day when I'd done a lot of talking and projecting my voice at work through delivering training sessions which normally results in me getting a sore throat, but didn't get one. Was it due to these or was it luck? I can't say for certain, but I'll definitely try these again next time to see if I can replicate the results. My only gripe with these are that they are expensive - to begin with at least. Six tablets per day works out at 10 days' supply. It does state that you can drop down to a maintenance dose of one or two tablets per day after the initial period, but doesn't suggest how long that initial period should be.I like the fact that they are manufactured in the UK - it gives me confidence that they contain the ingredients in the quantities stated.
It’s pricey for how many you get but it works. It eliminates smokers and cavity coating smell that can linger on your toothbrush even after brushing. The first three days use it daily. You can switch to every 2-3 days after that. It’s important that you water floss, brush and tongue scrape for best results. The taste is gross. Initially it’s minty but as it dissolves it has this sickly sweet nauseating taste as it SLOWLY dissolves.
